M. A. Hussain was born in a small town in Bihar, where he grew up facing poverty and hardship. After completing his 10th standard, he left his hometown in search of work and came to Pune to build a better life. He started working as a salesman, selling pens and stationery in schools, banks, and hospitals. While working, his visits to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital changed his life. He saw patients lying alone, many without family support, and some even going hungry because they could not afford food. These moments deeply touched him and gave him a strong desire to help. With very little income, he began supporting such patients using his own money—providing food, medicines, and care. What started as a small effort soon became his life’s purpose. In 2010, he founded Real Life Real People NGO with the aim of helping poor and needy patients. His dedication was soon recognized, and he was given space to serve within the hospital. Since then, he and his team have been working day and night—helping unknown patients, supporting MLC cases, and reuniting people with their families, often personally ensuring their safe return. In 2020, he expanded his work by taking responsibility for Savali Nivara Kendra , working towards a homeless-free society. Today, he continues to serve through homeless shelters and old age care, with a vision that no one should suffer without food, care, or dignity. For over a decade, Mr. M. A. Hussain has dedicated his life to serving others. His journey is a true example of how one person’s compassion can bring hope to many lives.
